Once Upon a Bump

Brand identity for a new podcast about parenthood. Launched in 2020, the podcast focuses on the psychological aspect of being a new parent, targeted towards all parents regardless of gender, sexuality, race or class. The challenge of this project was to create an identity that reflects the inclusive community cultivated by the host Amy Lingard by helping the Podcast stand out of the crowd. As a trained psychologist Amy is able to provide information based on clinical research and as a mum herself speak from experience. It was crucial for the brand to reflect both aspects of the hosts personality. By using warm and earthy colours, it creates an inviting open platform. Strict geometric shapes and modern typography reflects her clinical background.
